Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This policy explains how nigethomas.co.uk uses cookies and similar technology, and how you can control it.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. Similar technology, such as your browser's local storage, works in the same way. Some are needed for a site to work. Others are used to track what you do online.
2. Our short answer
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only optional item on this site is the social feeds from X, Facebook and LinkedIn, and they only load if you allow them.
3. What we store
| Name | Type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| nt-consent-v1 | Local storage (strictly necessary) | Remembers whether you allowed or rejected the social feeds, so we do not ask you on every visit | Until you change your choice or clear your browser data |
Our fonts and scripts are stored on our own server, so loading this website does not send your information to font or script providers.
4. Third-party social feeds (optional)
The "Latest From Nige" section can show posts from Nige's accounts on X, Facebook and LinkedIn. These feeds come directly from those companies, and they may set their own cookies and collect information about your visit. Because of this, they only load after you choose Allow social feeds.
| Service | Provider | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| X (Twitter) feed | X Corp. | X privacy policy |
| Facebook page feed | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd | Meta cookie policy |
| LinkedIn posts | LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company | LinkedIn cookie policy |
If you choose Reject, the feeds stay hidden and the rest of the website works normally.
5. Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time:
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you withdraw consent, cookies the social networks have already set stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
6. More information
For more about how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy. For general advice on cookies, visit the ICO website.
